If you want to file a complaint in Landlord Tenant Court or if you have been served with an eviction complaint in Hudson County, you need an attorney. Not only can the court system be confusing, but landlord tenant laws are even more confusing. If you are a landlord and you file a complaint in Landlord Tenant Court without first providing certain notices to the tenant, your complaint may be dismissed. If you are a tenant and you have been served with a complaint, you may not be aware of some of the defenses that you may have to the complaint.
